Perth’s Best Corner Block Home Builder
While many builders can’t design a great home for a corner block, we relish the opportunity
Single Storey, 2 Storey or Three Storey homes for corner block sites.
No matter what type of home you’re planning on building, we can design the ideal home to suit your family and your corner block.
With over 30 years experience building on some of Perth’s most difficult sites, John Harry is the ‘go to’ designer and builder when it comes to building on corner blocks.
Infratec is a dedicated custom home builder so if you’re comparing our service to a larger high-volume project builder you’ll be pleasantly surprised. We’re more flexible and often include a higher level of specification for the same price or less.
It’s only a privileged few that get to design and build their ideal home. If you are going to take this path, do it with the right advice from a qualified Architect and Registered Builder. John Harry – Owner, Architect & Registered Builder at Infratec will guide you through the entire process from start to finish.
Start your building experience the right way
Here’s my special offer to you
If there’s one thing I’ve learned in 30 years of building, it’s that every great home is built on a solid foundation.
That foundation beings on the first day your architect or home designer stands on your block, right beside you.
You’ve already become familiar with your block. You’ve probably walked slowly around your block with your partner and your family discussing your ideas for your new home. You’re feeling excited. It’s a new beginning. You could say it’s like a great adventure. I imagine you jumping back into your car with a grin from ear to ear and tingling with anticipation.
Now it’s time to add a third party to the conversation and you’re faced with a very important choice. Who will you invite to your block?
I’m a little old fashioned. I believe there’s only one real way to get a feel for a building site, and that’s by planting my two feet on the ground.
Being on site allows me to really absorb all of the surroundings.
With my eyes I can assess the nature of the block. Does it slope? Is there a potential hazard or a design obstacle? I can clearly see all the surrounding homes and potential views. I’ll also take in the solar orientation of the block and consider design options to enhance your living.
With my ears I can hear the sounds of traffic, the highway, the kids playing in the park, the birds chirping in the native trees in your new backyard.
I can grab a handful of soil and make an assessment of the type of footings required for your new home. I’ll feel the breeze and fully appreciate how to naturally cool your home in summer.
This kind of assessment can’t be done from an office, but today most builders try to do just that.
Most builders take short cuts.
They’ll look on Google Maps and hope to learn enough from that one image so they can begin drawing your home.
It might be because the experience level of their staff isn’t high enough to make a proper analysis, or perhaps they’re just lazy. Who knows.
But ask yourself. Is that the kind of builder you’d like to work with?
Would you prefer to be treated like a number, dealing with multiple people during the build of your new home? Never meeting the registered builder or even meeting senior management.
That’s not what I want. All of my clients don’t want that either.
That’s why I offer my own time and energy to my clients from the first day to the last. As a client, you’ll get the best of my 30 years industry experience every day.
In contrast, many people build with big builders and have to deal with a novice 20 year old or an ex-used car salesperson. They’ll tell you they got poor advice and if they ever built again they’d do things differently.
You don’t want to make that mistake. It all starts with making the right choice, right now.
I’m convinced there’s a right way to build and a wrong way.
If you’d like to build the right way, with less hassles, less mistakes and less headaches then I’d like to make you a special offer.
